VEEAM + SYNOLOGY IMMUTABILITY
What Are Immutable Backups?
Immutable backups cannot be changed or deleted until a predefined time period has elapsed.
Their original integrity remains intact, safeguarding against threats like ransomware attacks on backups.
Why Are Immutable Backups Important?
Ransomware Resilience: In the face of ransomware, immutable backups ensure data availability for recovery.
Accidental Deletion: They protect against accidental data loss, preventing situations where critical files are deleted without a backup.
Let's explore the options available for configuring Synology NAS as a Veeam repository.
